COUNCIL ACTIVITIES

| MINUTES FROM 11/22/06 AND 12/27/06 This is a combined minute report for the council meetings for Nov. and Dec. The Dec. Meeting was for only 15 minutes followed by a social event. The Council meeting for Nov. was called to order at 7:05 pm by the Grand Knight. A prayer (Our Father) was lead by the Grand Knight as well as the "Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag". A motion was made to except the minutes from the last meeting. A second was made to the motion and all voted for the acceptance of the minutes. Because this meeting was the night before Thanksgiving, there was a sparse membership present. This resulted in a short meeting. The following officers were present; Grand Knight, Deputy Grand Knight, Chancellor, Treasurer, Recorder and Outside Guard. The following is therefore a combination of both the Nov. and Dec. Council meetings: From the Grand Knight: 1. Joshua Norris is a new member, and Kevin Finn may be a reactivated member. |

| 2. He read a thank you letter from the Carmalites for our contribution to them. | ||
| 3. He led a discussion on helping out the scouts | ||
| 4. He offered a challenge of a blood drive for our council with that from Immaculate Conception | ||
| 5. He encouraged all members to
sign up for duties concerning the decorations of the Cathedral for Christmas |
||
| 6. He mentioned there will be a
1st degree available on odd months of next year beginning with Jan. and ending with Nov. |
||
| 7. He encouraged attendance at the knights Jan. Bowl-athon held at Enterprise Lanes | ||
| 8. He concluded with a mention that the last council's last monthly breakfast went well. | ||
| From the Chaplin: 1. Msrg. Westheus was "under the weather" for the Nov. meeting and could not attend. |

| Treasurer's and Financial
Secretaries Reports: Indicated a positive report concerning the finances of the Council. |

1. The Treasurer mentioned that the Silent Auction time for during the
Council's monthly breakfast |

| 2. It was mentioned that the
Bartenders Ball will go on as scheduled at the Howard Johnson's "Oasis Inn & Convention Center" on North Glenstone |

| 3. The next council meeting will be a social event with the members and their wives | ||
| From the Insurance Agent: Not present, therefore nothing to report. |

| 1. Mentioned the reasons to become a knight and passed out a pamphlet on the subject | ||

celebration of "Our Lady of Guadalupe" at Sacred Heart Parish at 6 pm on
Dec. 9th. |
