The November, 2009 meeting was called
to order by the Grand Knight at 7:02 pm, followed Mark Kleene gave the Council a
presentation concerning “Vitae Caring”—finding new Rocky Ganmon, co-chair for “Knights
Striking Out for the Downtown Kitchen” said From the Grand Knight: 1. The
Grand Knight commented on the last Tootsie Roll Drive. He mentioned an 2. The
G.K. mentioned we would have a Dinner Meeting for next month at 7:00 pm 3. The
G.K. mentioned the “Culture for Life Fund” and the $2.00 amount taken from 4. The G. K. also asked if anyone knew of new applications to our Council. 5. The
G. K. read a letter from the Ladies Auxiliary thanking the Knight’s for their 6. The G. K. also mentioned a Thank You Letter from the Catholic Ministries. 7. The

From the Chaplin: 1.
Fr. Mike mentioned the Mass and
reception for Bishop Leib., Dec. 10th at 7:00 pm. It’s the 25th
anniversary as a Bishop for Bishop John. 2.
He mentioned that Deacon Mark Wand
was accompanying the Youth Group. 3.
He also thanked our Council for
the Summer BBQ,s, Fish Fry, and Breakfasts, 4.
He also mentioned that we should
have the Parish Newsletter by next week. 5.

Secretary’s Reports:
The Treasurer reported
on the bills and money received from activities after the last |

Unfinished and New Business: Various items were addressed. 1. John
Smithberg reported on the update for the “March for Life”. He mentioned 2. Smithberg
also motioned that the Council donate $300 to the Voice-for-Life travel |

Emporium” and that more volunteers would be |

||

4. Ben Francka mentioned the
upcoming Speaker on the “Missouri for Alternative to 5. John Wooldridge mentioned
the Council’s Wall Display. Fr. Mike
said he would 6. Tim Griese asked for 8-9
council volunteers this Saturday to finish the Christmas 7. Tim Griese also mentioned
he asked Bishop James if he could help serve at the Knight’s 8. Tim also mentioned he is
working on a manual to explain the Council’s “Breakfast 9. Keith Norton talked about
“The Community Blood Bank of the Ozarks” and that you 10. The Grand Knight said that
this month has a Fifth Sunday and Council Members should 11. Fr. Mike mentioned there would be an 11:30
am Mass followed by a Parish Pot-Luck for 12. Randy Friga also asked for
volunteers for the upcoming Bartender’s Ball on Dec. 7th. 13. A discussion followed
concerning the menu for the next Council Breakfast. 14. A discussion followed on
the “Keep Christ in Christmas” and Christmas Magnets. 15. The Recorder made a
suggestion that we consider to remarket our Tootsie Roll Drive |

Pray for Special People: We should keep these people in our thoughts and prayers: 1. Sylvester and his brother. His brother died of cancer. 2. John Bueno’s mother is in the hospital and his father and brother are ill 3. Sister Roslee had a hip replacement 4. Tim Griese’s wife, Shelly is in the hospital.
