COUNCIL ACTIVITIES

The April meeting was called to order by the Grand Knight at 7:03 pm, followed
by the “Our Father” and “Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag”. All officers were present
except the Deputy Grand Knight, Financial Secretary, Inside Guard, and 3^rd Year
Trustee. A total of 16 members were present. The minutes from the last meeting were
distributed. A motion was made to accept the minutes and seconded. A vote carried
the motion.

From the Grand Knight:

1. The Grand Knight acknowledged Tim Havens, a transfer member into our Council.
He then outlined some of the topics to be discussed later in the meeting concerning
New and Unfinished Business.

2. The G.K. mentioned he and Andy Love, the new Council Grand Knight would be
attending the State Meeting at Jefferson City.

3. The G.K. acknowledged Randy Friga, who mentioned the monies from the Tootsie
Roll Drive contributed to Republic had to be stated in form to the State.

4. The G. K. also mentioned Kathy from the Wellness of Life donated some food to
our past Fish Fry.

5. The G. K. mentioned that Fr. Mike said we are doing well getting the church
community together via our Monthly Breakfast.

6. The G. K. thanked Ryan Neill on the many times he used money from out-of-
pocket when it was needed at a moment’s notice.

7. The G. K. reported the bills from the Council activities.

From the Chaplin:

1. The Chaplin was not present.

Treasurer's and Financial Secretary’s Reports:

        The Treasurer reported on the bills and money received from activities after the last
council meeting. Also, he mentioned that financial condition of the Council was in
good condition and reported the amount of monies the Council had in the bank.
The Treasurer reported on the amount to date of the 5% savings account received
from the Council activities.

Unfinished and New Business:

Various items were addressed.

1. A discussion was in order concerning the specifics of the Mons. Westheuse
“Sunset Stroll”. After much discussion, it was decided that a separate meeting be
scheduled to discuss the many details. A time and location was set for Monday,
03/27 at the Naval Fleet Reserve.

2. A letter was sent to I.C. Church requesting the monies they owed us from the
Christmas Magnets.

3. John Smithberg mentioned Rosi San Paulo needed a new computer to aid in her
“Pro Life Work”. He motioned that our Council contribute $50 for the computer.
A second was made by Tom Hall, and the motion was carried by the vote.

4. Andy Love mentioned some work that could be done by Council Members con-
cerning needs of St. Agnes Elementary before the next Fall School Semester
begins. He mentioned that Deacon Mark Wand has the list of things needed to
be done.

5. Tom Hall led a discussion on obtaining a Freezer in the area obtained by the Council
in the basement of the Wellness Building for food storage. John Smithberg said we
should put an advertisement in the St. Agnes Church Bulletin to acquire the freezer.

The G. K. said he would take care of it.

6. Randy Friga requested that the list of new Council Officers for next year be read.
The new Officer’s names were then presented.

7. John Smithberg then commented on the success of the “Bingo” effort by the Parish
and our Council members.
